TedDriven is organizing the Leavenworth Mai Blumenlauf (May Flower Run) this year, expanding an event that previously was the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce's Mother's Day 5K. Proceeds from the family-style 5K run/walk portion of the event will benefit Cascade Medical Foundation, as it has in years past. Billed as a "run for everyone," more serious racers also have the option of signing up to run a 10K and a half marathon. The course for all races includes a circuitous route through downtown, Blackbird Island and Enchantment Park and back.
