I grew up in the sunshine and vineyards of Kennewick, attended Central in Ellensburg, and then moved to Seattle where I worked in the public library. My first choice of a job with Boeing failed when they didn't hire me. I met a Navy sailor finishing his duty in Seatlle. He was good looking and could repair or build anythin. We married and bought a home in Edmonds where we had 4 children. I was widowed in 1992, and in 2009 I retired from Snohomish County Juvenile Court and moved to the sunshine and orchards of Cashmere.
I have much time, but few talents, so I volunteer where I can make a difference - Cashmere Library, Wenatchee Symphony, Cashmere Museum, Leavenworth Handbell choir, Spirit of America Board, Cashmere Food Bank, and others. It is a good life.
