2025 Cascade Golf Classic sets 22-year fundraising record

LAKE WENATCHEE — Cascade Medical Foundation’s Marson and Marson Cascade Golf Classic on June 16 was a warm, sunny day that set the stage for fun and fundraising at the beautiful Kahler Mountain Club course near Lake Wenatchee.

Preliminary results show Cascade Medical Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year held true to form, netting more than $52,000 and setting a record for its 22-year history.

“With fantastic weather and Kahler Mountain Club Golf Course in prime condition awaiting their arrival, golfers showed up in anticipation of a competitive and fun outing and were not disappointed,” said Rich Adamson, co-chair of the Foundation’s golf committee.

“With Marson and Marson Lumber leading the way as our long-time naming sponsor, our local business community and health care industry partners really stepped up to sponsor the event. It is with heartfelt gratitude to our 16 Major Sponsors, 22 Hole Sponsors, 45 In-Kind Sponsors and 120 participants that we say THANK YOU for helping us meet and surpass our goal to raise funds to buy a new Clinic Bundle for Cascade Medical Center.”

More than 40 volunteers also commit time and effort to pull the event together, helping with everything from parking to providing on-course event instruction.

"The functional success of the tournament certainly comes about because of the incredible hours of volunteer work that comes from a cadre of dedicated friends, family and board members,” said Randy Pollock, the other tournament co-chair. “I applaud and thank them for their contributions that lead to the tournament being the success that it is.”
