The Cascade Medical Foundation board has had recent lengthy discussions about the social justice movement that is occurring nationally and around the world. The board has decided to go beyond the CMF mission statement with the addition of a Vision Statement:
In our mission to support Cascade Medical, we value equality of access to healthcare and wellness resources for all.
This vision statement reflects our organization's understanding that there are barriers to healthcare, and CMF will do its best to aid Cascade Medical as it seeks to reduce those barriers and continues to provide high quality healthcare to all residents of the health district.
Within our organization, we will use this vision statement as a lens to improve our strategic planning, with diversity as a focal point.
