Cascade Medical Foundation board member Wade Nash has been named vice chair of the volunteer board's executive committee, selected to finish out the two-year term of Shari Campbell, who recently was appointed to the serve on the Cascade Medical Commission.
Nash will serve in the position through the end of the year, with current chair Shannon Keller, Treasurer Strode Weaver, Secretary Dana Wilson and two at-large board members, Ann MacPherson and Bob Adamson.
Nash, and his wife Kathi, rejoined the Foundation board at the start of 2024. Both previously had served for six years (two 3-year terms) before taking a required one-year leave in 2023.
The Nashes have lived in Leavenworth for more than 15 years. He is a retired small business owner and she is a retired school teacher. Before joining the Foundation board, Wade Nash served on Cascade Medical's non-resident advisory board for three years.
Campbell, whose career background includes communications and healthcare marketing, joined the Foundation in 2021 and helped grow the organization's social media accounts and led the new Marketing and Promotions committee. She also helped establish the Mark Judy Memorial Caregiver Education Fund.
Her move to the hospital commission follows the mid-term retirement of Commissioner Mall Boyd, who had served in the elected position for 10 years.
