1970
In 1970 Dr. Marvin Speer Sr. envisioned a symbolic apple tree to recognize people who donated to the hospital.
1994
In 1994 Dean Wilkins designed the apple tree, and it was crafted by Jim Adamson, one of the founders of Cascade Medical Foundation. Jim Adamson, Jay Hanson and Carl Rosendahl made the apples.
2011
In 2011 the tree was updated, and along with new pear trees, was dedicated as the “JIM ADAMSON ORCHARD OF GIVING.”
